Your support can take Hunger off the table for vulnerable people this winter
Food is a basic human right, but sadly, last year in Australia 21% experienced severe food insecurity. That means over 1 in 5 people ran out of food because of financial limitations, sometimes going entire days without eating. And – with cost-of-living pressures greater than ever before – this number is set to rise.
For us at Anglicare Victoria, this is simply not acceptable. No one in Victoria should go hungry and our Emergency Services are here to make sure they don’t. This Winter, help stock our Emergency Relief pantries and secure food supply for the next year so we can help vulnerable people before they go hungry. Become a monthly donor and together we can create change
In a perfect world every child would have the same opportunities.
No child would ever get left behind, and nothing would stop them achieving their full potential.
But life isn’t perfect. And right here in Victoria our most vulnerable kids are falling behind at school, and then, in life. It isn’t OK. It’s far from OK. No one person can change this. But together we have the power to help rewrite their futures.
Our TEACHaR Education Specialists work every day inspiring, supporting and encouraging vulnerable students in primary and secondary school. They help students unlock their unique potential, catch up at school and develop skills that ensure their past does not dictate their future.
Join Team Better Tomorrows, where your monthly gift will help Victoria’s most vulnerable kids get vital education support, giving them the skills and confidence they need to rewrite their futures.
